Pilates is an exercise technique that
incorporates spring resistance to tone, strengthen, and stretch
the body. The series of exercises integrates mind and body.
It helps improve coordination, posture, and muscular
definition.
The result of a Pilates workout will be a longer and leaner
body with less bulky musculature, better posture, increased
flexibility, and a flatter stomach along with smaller hips
and thighs.
Pilates is a safe form of exercise for individuals with osteoporosis,
arthritis, and spinal conditions. Our teachers have extensive
experience working with clients from ages 8 to 80 (and everything
in between!) and will tailor your exercise program to your
specific needs.
